Obtaining the GDS position does not necessitate a high level of educational attainment. Simply possessing a 10th-grade diploma from a recognized institute suffices, alongside proficiency in computer literacy, cycling, and livelihood skills. Furthermore, candidates are required to have studied the indigenous language up to a minimum of the 10th grade from an accredited board. Guide to Applying for the Indian Post GDS Bharti Recruitment 2024: Online Application Process Commence the application procedure by accessing https://indiapostgdsonline.gov.in and entering the required information on the digital portal. Prior to commencing, make sure you have the subsequent details/documents prepared:
Please provide your mobile number and email address for OTP verification, along with your Aadhaar number if available. Additionally, include details about the Board and Year of Passing the Matriculation (10th) Examination.
You can apply for one or more vacant GDS posts within a selected Division. Validate your details by entering the Registration number and OTP sent to your mobile before selecting a Division. Once you choose a Division, a list of eligible posts based on community and age will be displayed, and you must specify your preferences.
Keep in mind that you will only be considered for the posts you select preferences for. If shortlisted, you will be offered only one post, forfeiting the rights to other posts. For example, if you select five posts in a Division with preference order post1, post2, post3, post4, post5, and qualify for more than one, you will be offered the most suitable preferred post while losing candidacy for the others.
